Academic Roles

Associate Lecturer (EMHP Supervisors)

Based within Clinical Education Development and Research (CEDAR) at the University of Exeter, the College wishes to recruit a 0.4 FTE Associate Lecturer to work with academics in support of the delivery of the EMHP programme.

This role is part of a substantial DoH and DoE investment to develop improved mental health support within the education sector and the successful candidate will be teaching alongside an established academic team who have a proven record of teaching excellence; delivering a curriculum driven by evidence-based practice.

The post will include supporting the student learning experience using a range of approaches and modes of delivery appropriate to the teaching and development of clinical competency within the education setting. Specifically, you will work within a wider team to support the delivery of the curriculum associated with the EHMP and CWP supervisors programmes and their delivery as part of the wider mental health support teams for education.

CYP IAPT Training Post (Action for Children)

Devon Children Centres (South, North, Exeter, Mid & East and Torbay) provide a service as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering, under supervision, high-quality; outcome-informed, focused, evidence-based interventions for children under 8 years old and their parents or carers.

This post is for a Children and Families Practitioner and is also a CYP-IAPT training role. The postholder will attend Exeter university, participate with self-study days required by the education provider as specified, and work in the service for the remaining days of the week using their newly developed skills. This training and service experience will equip you with the necessary knowledge, attitude and capabilities to operate effectively within the wider targeted early help Children’s Centre service.
