ABOUT THE EVENT

This one day training on Looking After Ourselves & Each Other will provide staff with an opportunity to connect with each other and learn about evidence-base ideas for how to cope with stressful helping roles. The training acknowledges that staff wellbeing is a shared responsibility, of both the organisation and the individual, and aims to help individuals understand the risks of compassion fatigue, burnout and secondary trauma and how best to mitigate these risks. In the current time, knowledge of what research suggests is most effective in coping with healthcare related stress is more important than ever. Delivery involves a mixture of didactic and interactive teaching methods.

Attendees are encouraged to put their ooo and not book meetings before and after the workshop.
