Young people don’t need a diagnosis or even be sure that they have a difficulty to get in touch – but they may be finding it difficult to cope with unhelpful thoughts and feelings. Young Somerset can help young people work out what to do next.
Appointments are offered with Wellbeing Practitioners, who are able to provide evidence-based treatments for mild to moderate problems. They are trained in cognitive behavioural therapies (CBT) for a range of mental health difficulties, and use them to help young people. They can also provide over-the phone and guided self-help support.
