The Herefordshire Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) provides specialist mental health services from children and young people and their families and carers.

Hereford CAMHS offers support for children and young people who are having problems with relationships with family, friends or at school; feeling depressed, anxious, self-harming, or having problems with eating; or experience of a traumatic event in their lives.
Therapies and interventions that are provided include: family work, psychotherapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), specialist assessments for ASD, ADHD, self-harm and suicidal thoughts, psychosis and eating disorders.
Referrals can be made by professionals, including: GPs, school nurses, health visitors, specialist staff within schools, social workers, drug workers, YOS workers and paediatricians. Referral criteria is available on the website.
