Bristol CAMHS provide child and adolescent mental health service (CAMHS) across Bristol and South Gloucestershire. These are community teams that help children and young people with emotional, behavioural and mental health difficulties.

CAMHS includes specialist teams to help with learning disabilities, self-harm, substance and alcohol misuse, sexual behaviour (Be Safe), eating disorders and supporting children in care (Thinking Allowed)
Offer treatment options tailored to individuals and their needs, this can include groups, individual therapy, family therapy, medication and groups for parents.
Referrals can be made by GPs and other health service staff, social workers and school staff. However, self-referrals cannot be made at present. The guidance and criteria is available on the website.
