  • Location: Online (Zoom)
  • Category: CPD

Please note this event is aimed at qualified practitioners employed at one of our partner services within the South West Community of Practice.

This training day will be split into two halves. In the morning time will be spent exploring some questions that frequently emerge during clinical supervision of OCD in young people. For example, how can we disentangle OCD from ASD? How do we know whether a young person with harm obsessions poses a risk to others?

The afternoon session will focus on understanding Body Dysmorphic Disorder. This will cover screening, assessment and diagnostic issues and there will be an overview of evidence-based intervention.

Delegates will require an intermediate knowledge of CBT. Those with a basic knowledge of CBT, who have attended the June CPD day on assessment and treatment of OCD, would also be welcome to attend.
