ABOUT THE EVENT
This training day will be split into two halves. In the morning we will spend some time exploring two key areas that frequently emerge during clinical supervision of OCD in young people: how can we disentangle OCD from ASD and how do we know whether a young person with harm obsessions poses a risk to others?
The afternoon session will focus on understanding Body Dysmorphic Disorder. We will cover screening, assessment and diagnostic issues and there will be a brief overview of evidence-based intervention.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Delegates will require an intermediate knowledge of CBT. Those with a basic knowledge of CBT, who have attended the March CPD day on assessment and treatment of OCD, would also be welcome to attend.
